The goal setting process:
The goal setting process that works is one that I applied to my own life for a period of 12 months straight and I seen dramatic results from this method. In 12 months I changed my life MENTALLY, PHYSICALLY, EMOTIONALLY AND FINANCIALLY!
The majority of us are "results driven" by that I mean that constant noticeable results keep our ambition in whats called UP-TIME which is momentum to keep pushing for more results. Instant gratification is what controls the majority of the world, thats why we eat out alot because its QUICK and EASY.
So if our largest goals take a while to meet how do you suppose we should keep our ambition in "Up-TIME"? Instant gratification is exactly why " New years resoulutions" are rarely carried out, not seeing instant results and not feeding your ambition to keep the momentum and goal fresh on the mind for 12 months. Most people dont make it past the first 2 weeks of the new year. The steps are as follows:
- Be clear of the EXACT goal.
- Break the goal into 4 sections!
- Designate a notebook to track your quarterly progress
- Take responsibility!
- Feed your AMBITION ( MAKE THIS PRIORITY)
whatever it is that motivates you to work hard needs to become a huge part of you're daily life. Cant drive without gas. Cant succeed without AMBITIONAL FUEL. I know Ambitional isnt a word but it WORKS so ROCK WITH ME HERE ok. look at the new houses, look at the new toys, new cars, go window shopping, ride through nice neighborhoods whatever it takes. doing this is just like looking at the menu and not ordering. IT KEEPS YOU HUNGRY!
